This position serves as the financial manager and advisor for the Corporate Marketing, Advertising, and PDSN Sales departments. This person will be an integral of the 3 Year and 1 Year bottoms-up Budget process for the multiple cost centers that make-up the PDSN Sales, Marketing and Advertising, and Corporate Direct Departments. In addition, this person will be responsible for monitoring the various incentive programs with the PDSN branches. This person will also be responsible for ensuring that all approved policies and procedures are followed within the entire Corporate Marketing, PDSN Sales, and Corporate Direct Departments. The total sales for the PDSN Channel is approximately $1 Billion.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Other duties may be assigned.Is responsible for the establishment and achievement of acceptable levels of continuous improvement in customer satisfaction in each of the sales branches under his/her authority--accomplished primarily on site customer visitations, written correspondence with end users, contractors and architects, in field training and continuing emphasis on total quality management.Is responsible for all financial controls and information within the Corporate Marketing, Sales, and Corporate Direct departments, doing financial analysis when necessary and appropriate, including periodic surcharge retention and other sales initiative expense analysis.Serves as the financial advisor to the Vice President of Corporate Marketing and Vice President of PDSN Sales on all matters affecting financial accountability, corporate financial matters, and special projects.Responsible for monitoring PDSN incentive programs throughout the year (i.e. incentive process cycle) and doing special project analysis as to the financial impact of special incentive offerings to stimulate sales based on current market conditions.Acts as the liaison with the finance functions of all Corporate Marketing and PDSN Sales department objectives.Assists in setting operating priorities and assigns appropriate resources in support of the priorities.Is responsible for establishing and coordinating IT project priorities together with the other members of the Corporate Marketing and PDSN Sales staff.Is responsible for monitoring and auditing all activities within the Corporate Marketing, PDSN Sales, and Corporate Direct departments for full compliance with approved policies and procedures.Is an integral part of the top down planning, bottoms-up budgeting, and quarterly forecast processes. This includes monitoring results monthly and communicating issues to the appropriate Department Managers.Monitors the advertising budget which is in excess of $30 Million annually.Support the Corporate Direct sales team to ensure quotes on proposals are prices appropriately to protect Pella’s expected margins and to ensure the quotes are within Company Policies.Is responsible for conducting annual audits and periodic review of procedures during the year to ensure ongoing compliance.When appropriate, facilitates resolution of operating issues within the departmental staff on behalf of the CFO, Corporate Controller, and Director of Corporate Accounting.As required, make Branch visits and be involved in branch transitions.Supervisory Responsibilities:
Based on the work load, the position will supervise a Financial Analyst.

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; seven to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Language Skills:Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Mathematical Skills:Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.Reasoning Abilitiy:Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
