Evaluates current and proposed budgets and forecasts, identifies issues and opportunities, and provides solutions and recommendations to management.Provide overall analysis and recommendations when preparing initiative budgets and forecasts; provide cost estimates, through working with the cross-functional team, to facilitate planning and cash flow management; and develop financial models to support key business initiatives. Identify issues, risks, and opportunities. Analyze revenue and expense variances to budget/forecast/prior year for business initiatives. Provide segment revenue analysis. Perform special projects and ad hoc analyses for management. Identify, evaluate, and promote productivity opportunities to reduce or leverage costs. Identify and monitor segment and/or initiative activity drivers and costs. - Provide consultation with Consumer Panel cross-functional team on clarification of financial policies and procedures.Qualifications
5-7 years experience in a Financial Analysis role -Proven experience in project management and team leadership -Negotiation - use techniques to come to an agreement with another party -Time Management - utilize company communication tools to effectively manage multiple priorities and projects under tight timelines and a complex environment. Communication (written, verbal, and presentation) - ability to exchange and provide information to individuals in a concise professional manner across all levels of the organization Technical/Computer - Proficiently use various types of pc-based software packages including Microsoft Excel and Power Point. Experience in Hyperion Essbase a plus. -Technical/discipline - knowledge of specific accounting/business disciplines and strong financial analysis skills. -MBA and CPA desired. 15 % travel is anticipated
