Finance Manager, Energy Engineering Operations

Business Unit: GE Infrastructure, EnergyFunction: FinanceResponsibilities: * Lead Engineering Operations Finance team in managing engineering budget and in supporting ~3,500 engineers in US, Europe and Asia.
Drive global business planning process for Thermal, Wind, Hydro, EPE, and Aero businesses.
Provide financial leadership for Technology SI, SII, and operating plans.
Manage budgets for global engineering design centers in Russia, India, Mexico, and China; work closely with global teams to identify opportunities to simplify processes, minimize global costs and ensure financial controllership.
Drive eNPP simplification initiatives across Energy technology organization in order to better manage R&D spending and simplify reporting of key program deliverables.
Provide Power Generation NPI scorecard for monthly VP reviews.
Manage credits liquidation process for new GM structure.
Develop consistent requisition tracking models across engineering operating teams in order to drive improved productivity performance.
Manage Engineering Operations COE's monthly/quarterly closing activities.
Lead site controllership audits of domestic and global technology sites.
Manage monthly risk and opportunities to meet Engineering financial targets.
Manage capital investment budget across COE's; lead P&E council monthly reviews and drive favorable investment payback.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * 8+ years experience in a broad range of financial roles.
BS degree in Finance or Accounting or similar business related discipline.
Experience leading teams and driving strategic initiatives across organization.
Proven leadership skills and results focused.
Effective communication skills at all levels of the organization.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong PC skills (Excel & PowerPoint).
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects.Desired: * FMP Graduate or MBA in Finance/Accounting.
Greenbelt Certified.General: * This position will provide global finance leadership to the Thermal, Wind, Hydro, and Aero businesses. It will provide day-to-day operational support in additional to strategic direction during SI & SII planning. This role will supervise a finance team in the US and abroad and will focus on meeting key financial and controllership deliverables across all sites.
