PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Advisory group delivers comprehensive client services related to transactions, performance improvement and crisis management. As part of the Advisory group, the Finance Effectiveness team leverages capabilities to solve critical market issues impacting CFOs today. The Finance Effectiveness mission is to advise CFO’s and assist their organizations to gain timely, cost effective access to accurate financial and operational information, transforming internal finance organizations from being purely transactional, to playing a more strategic and critical performance management role. The current focus is to help CFOs reduce complexity by focusing on: Improving Internal and External reporting People and Organization structure Strengthening Performance Management, Budgeting and Forecasting Capabilities Optimizing Cash Flow and the Use of Capital Building and Maintaining Cost Effective ControlsPricewaterhouseCoopers’ Finance Effectiveness team has opportunities for Senior Associates to deliver client services in the area of performance management, budgeting, consolidations, and reporting.
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
achelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; MB.A. or MA/MS in a related field is a plus.Essential Requirements:
The ideal Senior Associate candidate will have 4+ years of experience and a strong background in core finance and accounting functions, with solid experience in account closing and financial reporting processes. Applied experience in performance and process improvement is required: simplifying processes, reducing costs, and decreasing cycle times.Additional experience in the following is highly desired: Business intelligence tools such as Hyperion, ComShare, GEAC Internal Controls Budgeting and Forecasting Project Management
The ideal candidate will also have a background in consulting and client services with experience in a supervisory role. In addition, excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and a strong professional presence are required.
