Finance Director - Controller

Classification: Contract to Full Time Premier South Florida law firm is looking for a Director of Finance - Controller to direct all accounting functions in order to promote efficiency, ensure accuracy, and add value to the firm by providing analysis of financial information and recommend areas for improvement.
Position Responsibilities:• Responsible for all accounting functions and corresponding staff including accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, billing, payroll, G/L activities and all other accounting systems• Manage all financial deadlines, internal standards and procedures, and legal/regulatory requirements• Manage and coordinate all accounting staff to ensure efficiency within the department• Interact with and respond to attorneys and firm management and maintain effective relationships with same• Prepare monthly financial reports and analysis for partners, and other reporting as needed• Responsible for cash position, preparation of annual budget and banking relationships
