The Americas Service Center (ASC) Audit Team is responsible for the following:
Auditing time and expense reports for North American employees to insure compliance with Accenture policies and procedures
Serving as a control function to reduce the misappropriation of Accenture assets
Auditing internal processes and making future control recommendations
Conducting special audits, either time and expense or other, per the request of upper management
Job Responsibilities:
Audit appropriateness of business expenses (e.g.: expense type, frequency, dollar amount, etc.)
Identify time and expense reporting errors through the use of expense receipts and Accenture-provided resources
Perform trend/ad-hoc analysis in order to identify audit issues
Utilize outside resources (e.g.: vendors, credit card companies, etc.) via phone, internet and written documentation in order to verify validity of expenses
Prepare documentation to support audit findings
Produce formal audit summaries with detailed audit findings
Manage and maintain the retention of records for all audits
Schedule quality peer reviews on all audits prior to manager review
Demonstrate a willingness to learn and gain a working knowledge of information in a timely manner
Aid in developing materials to assist in presenting the audit function and audit benefits to other Accenture groups
Conduct audits on other Accenture business processes, such as Procurement, Accounts Payable, General Accounting, etc., recommending controls and procedural changes to ensure compliance

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
Bachelors degree (accounting or finance major preferred)
At least 1 year of internal audit, audit, and/or accounting experience
Professional Skill Requirements
Maturity in dealing with sensitive and confidential matters
Ability to communicate (both written and verbal) in a logical, clear, concise manner when presenting information (work must be readily understood by senior executives)
Strong attention to detail with an ability to demonstrate analytical strengths
Ability to work well in a team environment by setting a good example as well as willingness to assist other team members in completing related tasks
Ability to prioritize and/or work on several tasks at once and to change focus at a moments notice
Sound business judgment and problem solving ability
Ability to build and maintain relationships
Ability to work on several projects at once with minimal supervision
Moderate to advanced knowledge of Windows applications including Excel, Access and Word
Some awareness of state and federal laws regarding time and expense
Some knowledge of payroll taxation rules
Knowledge of Accenture Time & Expense Reporting Policies & Procedures is a plus
Knowledge of Accenture business practices and market units is a plus
