Fiduciary Accountant
Job Description:

Our Fiduciary Accountants prepare various tax and information returns for trusts, estates and charitable foundations and maintain detailed tax and accounting records for executors and other fiduciaries who are clients of the Firm.

Job Responsibilities:
Prepares and gathers information needed to prepare Federal and State estate, gift and inheritance tax returns.
Maintains contemporaneous tax and accounting records for trusts, estates, foundations and partnerships.
Provides continuous financial information to attorneys and paralegals in the trusts and estates department.
Prepares annual information returns for charitable organizations and Federal and State fiduciary income tax returns for trusts and estates.
Responsible for estimated tax payments for trusts, estates and other entities.
Interacts with taxing authorities and financial institutions.
Other assignments as required.


Job Requirements:
At least two years experience as a fiduciary accountant at a law firm and a bachelor's degree are required.
Must have superior organizational skills.
Must be able to maintain precise accurate financial records on multiple matter on a current basis.
Must be able to adhere to strict time deadlines.
Strong computer skills and knowledge of database applications such as ProSystems, Omega Fiduciary Accounting System, Excel, Zane, Inter-Est and NumberCruncher.
