Description:



Leads, directs and controls activities within the Fee Processing Group for PCS Operations. Fee Processing activities include; fee assessment, account maintenance, billing and reporting. Ensures compliance with corporate and LOB standards, timely identification of emerging problems and development of plans for resolution.






As an Operations Department Manager II you will plan, organize and oversee activities for a major department within a group. You will:
Develop, recommend, negotiate and implement operations policies, processes and services Direct the study and establishment of new and revised systems, procedures and methods Evaluate your department's technological capability and ensure its support Driving in long-term or strategic planning for the business unit, determining department structure and allocation of resources Execute broad strategic planning for capital expense or production/service improvement Recruit and develop effective managers and operational staff, ensuring personnel continuity and backup




REQUIREMENTS


Qualifications:



Bachelors Degree in Business preferred; Knowledge of Trust Operations; familiarity and/or experience with trust and/or investment products, SEI Trust 3000 system, data storage and retrieval, and personal computer applications. Ability to analyze and resolve issues and communicate recommendations to improve processes and procedures. Must be able to work within deadlines, and in fast paced team environment. Must also have strong written and oral communication skills to interact with various levels of management and other areas of the organization. Position requires involvement in user groups and steering committees and Product Management groups. Must have 5-10 years of previous successful experience in leadership role of a medium sized group with medium to large sized functional complexity&risk.





Minimum Requirements:
Six years of management experience 3-5 years of Trust and Investment Industry experience In-depth knowledge of department's products and functional knowledge of products outside the department Broad basic knowledge of customers: their strategies, needs, behavior, financial dynamics and business goals Broad experience in production, client relations, process improvement, strategic planning, risk and project management Excellent interpersonal, negotiating and marketing skills Planning and budget management skills Bachelors degree preferred
