The Washington Federal Practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers is currently looking for individuals with strong audit backgrounds. You will have the opportunity to serve as part of a team of professionals delivering quality service to a variety of Federal Government clients. Responsibilities include identifying, assessing, analyzing and mitigating some of the most significant risks of Federal Government agencies. The risks will be financial, operational and compliance in nature; however, project work takes on numerous forms. Project work could include involvement on internal control reviews, risk assessments, business process mapping projects, or financial statement audits of Federal Government agencies- limited to controls focused support work. The nature of our projects is extremely fluid and requires self-motivated individuals that are willing to develop solutions on their own or in a team of highly skilled professionals. Project members are given the opportunity to interact with senior management on a frequent basis as well as senior individuals from the firm. REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
Bachelors degree required, preferably in Accounting, Internal Audit, Finance, or Business
CPA, CIA or other relevant certifications, strongly preferredEssential Requirements:
Two+ years of internal or external audit experience. Experience serving Federal Agency clients or working in the Federal Government in an operational, financial or audit capacity is a plus Individuals must be able to communicate well with engagement management and client personnel, be able to balance multiple commitments and assignments, demonstrate a history of client satisfaction and strong relationship building skills, and possess strong business writing and communication skills Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
