The Deloitte corporate tax team work with our clients to minimize their tax liability and ensure their organization complies with local, federal and international tax law. Our corporate tax practice serves as the gateway to a variety of specialized tax services that help minimize our client's tax burden. We offer a fresh look at our client's tax position with an eye toward broader business objectives. We work closely with our clients to understand the organization's global goals and strategies and how industry and economic trends affect their business.  Process and TechnologyDeloitte Corporate Tax Manager use their expertise in accounting and taxation to provide consulting and
compliance services to corporate and individual clients. Tax Managers must be familiar with the tax consulting process and the professionalism necessary for the effective diagnosis, solution, development and implementation of clients' tax needs. In addition, they direct complex tax research, formulate tax-planning strategies and perform tax reviews. Engagement Tax Managers will have responsibility for engagement budgeting, billing, and scheduling. They also have responsibility for the development and motivation of all engagement staff and provide them with leadership, counseling and career guidance.   Managers draft and assist in the delivery of proposals for engagements and are knowledgeable about the range of services offered by the firm. They have proven, extensive technical expertise and have developed their reputation in Corporate Tax and if they have focused in a particular industry.  Managers provide leadership in timely and quality delivery of services to exceed the expectations of our clients
.
Corporate Tax Manager candidates must have:
 Four or more years of general tax experience, preferably with at least 2 years focused on corporate taxation.  Experience with a Big 4 firm, law firm, or large corporate tax department of a multinational company is required.
 Consulting and compliance experience is needed.
 Excellent research skills and strong written and verbal communications skills required.
 Excellent project management and presentation skills required
 Prior supervisory experience required
 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field
 Advanced degree such as MST, JD or LLM preferred.
