Motivated, detail-oriented individual with an interest in federal operations, financial management and applying federal budget guidelines in the formulation, analysis, execution, and review of the budget.

Enjoys being involved in the day-to-day details and is willing to roll up his/her sleeves to get the job done.

Possesses excellent written and oral communication skills.

Position involves high profile conduct, coordination and financial analysis in reporting of results to federal client. Seeking individuals to join our team with a client-focused and consummate team player attitude.

Federal accounting experience preferred - experience applying federal accounting principles in forecasts, analysis, financial plan execution, and review. In lieu of direct federal experience, large consulting or auditing firm experience also strongly valued.Responsibilities:
Lead/Support the process improvement effort of a federal government agency’s financial statements, overall financial program management, and audit and budget strategies. Consultant must be able to develop, interpret and apply finanical planning and programming guidance.
Primary responsibility assisting federal clients as a financial subject matter expert and liaison in the training of BearingPoint and client staff in federal accounting process improvement.Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of experience

US Citizen, Must have Top Secret, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with polygraph

Bachelors Degree Required; Advanced degree a plus, but not required

Knowledge and familiarity in performing the following federal accounting responsibilities: standard general ledgers, financial statements, accounts payable, revenue tracking, disbursements, and obligations

Strong Communication Skills – team members will prepare presentations and must be able to clearly articulate financial analysis performed

CPA preferred but not required

Leadership potential and experience working with teams (2-12 people)

Individual must be able to represent BearingPoint independently in front of the client

Demonstrated Business Process Improvement (BPI) Experience

Knowledge of MS Access, Visual BasicLogistics:
