We are looking to for an experienced Facilties Administrative Assistant for our Rockville, MD location. This position will be responsible for composing and editing correspondence from dictation, verbal direction, or from knowledge of established department/division policies. Scheduling and coordinating meetings, events, interviews, appointments, and/or other similar activities for supervisors, which may include travel and lodging arrangements. Lifting/moving boxes, assembling and disassembling furniture and other facilities duties as needed. Assisting unit management and staff in problem solving, project planning, and development and execution of stated goals and objectives. Establishing, maintaining, and updating files, databases, records, and/or other documents. Developing and maintaining data regarding inventory of office supplies. Sorting, screening, reviewing, and distributing incoming and outgoing mail. Requisitioning supplies, printing, maintenance, and other services.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates will have organizing, coordination, analytical and problem solving skills. Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and inventory control. Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials. Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports. Ability to maintain calendars and schedule appointments. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (both orally and in writing). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
