FMS Financial Analyst (253300)

Lockheed Martin Information Technology-Professional Services is looking for a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Financial Analyst with a current security clearance (required) to support the development and monitor of policy for a major Navy Headquarters level organization. Candidate will also provide Foreign Military Sales (FMS) financial case management and reconciliation support for Navy managed FMS cases. This is a full-time position in Washington, DC. Some travel is required. Compensation is based on qualifications, education and experience: $44-50k/year. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer (M/F/V/D).
REQUIREMENTS
US Citizen with a current security clearance (required). Four years recent experience in FMS financial management for MISIL managed cases (w/Bachelors Degree) - eight years experience without Bachelors Degree; senior positions required six or ten years respectively. Experience should include financial case management support; and the reconciliation of financial data against source documentation and the Management Information System for International Logistics (MISIL) database. Candidate for senior level position must have a clear understanding of the financial aspects of the MISIL and/or STARS system(s) as well as an understanding of the FMS logistical processes. An understanding of the financial flow from initiation through final billing on the Defense Integrated Financial System (DIFS) system including disbursing office systems, the Financial Reporting System (FRS), and Consolidated Expenditure Reporting System (CERPS) is needed. DSAMS experience preferred. For all levels, strong problem solving skills needed as these positions involve resolving complex problems. Also required is the ability to juggle multiple tasks on a daily basis, work independently, and maintain a professional attitude. Computer Skills: Microsoft Word, Access or other databases, Excel, Power Point. On the job training will be provided. Education: Associates Degree (junior position with 4 years of experience); Bachelors Degree (Senior Position with 6-8 years of experience).
