The Howard County Health Department seeks an experienced Fiscal Services Chief to direct the Department's Fiscal Services.

Requirements: B.A. degree in Accounting or 30 credit hours in accounting and related courses, including or supplemented by 3 credit hours in auditing from an accredited college or university including 4 yrs experience examining, analyzing and interpreting accounting systems, record and reports by applying GAAP.

Note:

•Applicants who had met the requirements for admission to the CPA examination prior to July 1, 1974 will be considered to have met the educational requirement referenced above.

•Possession of a certificate as a Certified Public Accountant or a MS degree in accounting from an accredited college or university may be substituted for one year of the required experience.

•Applicants may substitute 1 yr of professional budgeting experience or 1 yr of professional auditing experience for 1 yr. of the required experience only.
