FINANCIAL SYSTEMS REPORTING ANALYST

The American Cancer Society National Home Office is seeking a Financial Systems Reporting Analyst to provide data reporting and analysis utilizing a number of third-party tools such as Business Objects, SQL, MS Acces, Crystal or other business intelligence applications is also required. Creates and maintains reporting databases within Business Objects including schema and Universe design. Develops template and ad-hoc reports using standard methodology's. Provides end-user training and support to a variety of customers. Serves as primary point of contact for the development of business reports and analysis; providing mentoring; guidance and troubleshooting to NHO and divisions in solving complex reporting and analytical problems. Communicates system development or change issues and carries out processes to assess information needs for other Departments and Divisions.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements include Bachelor?s Degree in Finance, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced degree (MBA) or additional certification (CPA, etc) is a plus. Three to five years direct experience with business analytics, report creation, data validation and report validation. Experience with Business Objects, SQL, MS Access, Crystal, or other business intelligence applications is also required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, analysis and reporting. Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and reasoning capabilities. Demonstrated ability to participate within a global team of DBA?s, Analysts and report writers. Demonstrated problem solving skills; creatively working toward solutions. Ability to manage multiple projects to successful and timely completion.
