FINANCIAL MNGR/ ANALYST needed for heavy construction firm in NC near N Myrtle Beach area.Financial Manager/Analyst
Job Duties to include:- Develop organization’s budget with management team.- Manage organization’s budget with clear feedback to management team and staff.- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and analyze budget versus actual results.- Provide monthly financial reports.- Facilitate meetings with President and CPA about financial and cash-related issues.- Meet with management team as needed to discuss financial statements and issues.- Prepare financial reports.-Work with accounts payable and accounts receivable as related to budget and job analysis.
- Monitor cash flow, including creating and updating cash flow projections.- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and private reporting requirements and contractual obligations.- Work with Estimators/Project Managers/President to develop and facilitate solutions for significant business or technical issues/problems
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks
- Familiarity with financial management of inventory
- Supervise contract administration and procurement operations.- Maintain adequate property, casualty, and liability insurance for potential risks.Strong analytical and problem solving skillsRequirements- Three to five years’ experience in accounting.• Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, or equivalent discipline is required, advanced degree is a plus
- QuickBooks expertise
- Ability to work independently in setting work priorities, meeting deadlines, and completing tasks.- Team player.- Readily takes initiative with a minimum of instruction.
