FINANCIAL ANALYSTS- PRINCIPLE COST & PROJECT - CA and MD

Position: PRINCIPLE COST & PROJECT ANALYSTS
Locations: San Diego, CA (1) and Hanover, MD (1)

Description: Reports and analyzes cost/performance, reviews and assist in updating schedules, and oversees contractual matters on assigned programs and departments. Financial administration of subcontracts. Analyzes historical and current trends to forecast future performance. Responsible for forecasting of the rolling flash, generating invoices, preparation of the annual plan, tracking other indirect costing functions, and all aspects of the cost volume preparation which includes written content, cost/price schedules, contractual aspects such as bonding and insurance coverage and audit support. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and requires the strictest attention to detail and accuracy. Extensive knowledge of financial/cost performance in both breadth and depth is expected. Proactive in identifying and solving problems of high complexity, exercise good organizational skills, and capable of working in team environment which includes working with Program Managers and internal/external customers.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Accounting or equivalent preferred.

SECURITY CLEARANCE.

5 - 9 years experience in performance/cost measurement or financial analysis is required.

Working knowledge of PeopleSoft, Micro-Frame Program Manager (MPM), and Microsoft Office Products required.

Possess good written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to
interact well with others.

Knowledgeable in government and commercial contracting and performance
measurement principles such as earned value, scheduling, IRR, ROA, Payback, DSO and Operating Efficiency.

Training MPM and PeopleSoft

U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance required. CURRENT SECRET CLEARANCE OR HIGHER PREFERRED!
