FINANCIAL ANALYST (INDUSTRY LEADER)

Newly Created Financial Analyst role supporting CFO of a highly respected Industry Leader.

Analysis of the consolidated income statement, balance sheet, and cash flows to identify trends / areas for further investigation.

Analysis of business segment financial performance - both historical and forecasted - including a review of major trends within each segment in terms of revenue, profitability, and projects/initiatives.

Ad Hoc Reporting for CFO. Special projects as assigned. Other related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred
4-6 years experience in financial analysis including reviewing financial statements, preparation of business plans, and variance analysis

Strong working knowledge of relationship between the various financial statements (I/S, B/S, Cash Flows)

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Advanced knowledge in the use of financial software applications, databases, spreadsheets, and/or word processing.
