We are currently seeking a:Senior Accounting / Financial / Business AnalystJob Description:This open-ended and challenging position is available to a go-getter who will be responsible for:·Accounting
·Financial Planning
·Forecasting
·Ad Hoc financial analyses
·Special projects in support of business objectives.
Including :
·Preparing and analyzing quarterly forecasts and annual budgeting·Long range planning
·Payroll cost analysis
·Building financial models to evaluate Income Statement, Cash Flow and Balance Sheet·Developing analytical and computational tools to enhance your ability to provide operational and financial analysis for projects and/or assignments.
·Assisting with monthly closing
·Monthly P&L review and variance analyses; monthly balance sheet review
·Ad hoc special projects as you see fit.You will report directly to and work hand in hand with our CFO.Candidate must have an entrepreneural spirit and new ideas to enhance the growth of our organiztionJob Requirements: (Duties will include but not be limited to)
·Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting. CPA or MBA preferred.
·3 to 5 years experience in general accounting, finance or budgeting / planning.
·High degree of skill in using the PC and related spreadsheet and word processing software.·Extensive experience with MS Excel and Pivot Tables.
·Quickbooks experience or willingness to learn and master.·Crystal Reports Experience and Database querying and analysis skills preferable.
·MS Acesss – query building experience preferable.
·Highly developed written communication skills.
·Skilled in the analysis and explanation of variances and the ability to dig in to the details to understand financial transactions.
·Background that demonstrates the ability to apply accounting and finance theory.
·Proven ability to achieve departmental goals and deadlines while encouraging positive success-oriented thinking.
·Positive problem-solving mentality that seeks solutions and improvements to processes to enhance the reporting and accuracy of the department and company.
