Job Description:
This position is based in Foxboro, MA and reporting to the CFO of Caritas Christi Health Care. The Corporate Vice President of Revenue Management will investigate and uncover areas for improvement with the goal of increasing net revenues. Standardization of “best practice” and implementing revenue enhancement initiatives are an important focus for this role. This position is responsible for managing revenues of approximately $1 billion. The scope of this role has oversight of 150 employees across 6 hospitals
The Corporate Vice President of Revenue Management will also be required to investigate and develop strategies of possible centralization for all areas of responsibility including Patient Finance, Fiscal and Clinical Integration, Chargemaster Maintenance, Contract Management, Denials Management, Revenue Systems Analysis, Systems Integration and Training, Development and Compliance.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelors Degree required preferably in business, health or public administration, management, or a related field. Masters in hospital or business administration, accounting, finance, or related field and closely related clinical disciple preferred. HFMA and or MAPAM certification in Patient Financial Services a strong plus.
Work Experience:
- A minimum of 7 years management experience in the healthcare receivables field required, with a work record that demonstrates:
* In-depth knowledge of hospital and physician billing and reimbursement
* Demonsratable formal approach to problem-solving and project management
* Strong computer system skills including Hospital financial management systems – Meditech is ideal
* Fluent working knowledge of hospital medical terminology
* Proven negotiation skills
* Expertise using healthcare industry financial statistical indicators
* Initiative and discipline to work with independence, to make a decisive impact on an organization striving for continued excellence.
