FINANCE DIRECTOR, Woodbury, NJ
Devereux is a non-profit organization providing services around the nation for persons with emotional, developmental & educational disabilities. The Devereux NJ Treatment Network is seeking a Financial Director. The position is located in Woodbury, NJ (Southern, NJ)
REQUIREMENTS
Responsible for all financial programs within the New Jersey network.
Provides and aids executive staff and management with strategic and financial information that includes, analysis, coordinating, and education on items pertaining to budget preparation and control, records control, new program development, and special management studies.
Interfaces with internal (Center/Regional/Corporate) and external
(agencies/funders) requirements in the administration of all support services.
Provide financial advice and decision support to the Executive Director and other members of the Center management team on all relevant matters impacting the Center's current operating plan or strategic business plans.
Analyze monthly financial operating results of the Center and interpret results for operating department heads and other appropriate personnel.
Closely monitor the monthly closing process to ensure established deadlines are met and that reports fairly represent actual operations of the Center.
Oversee day-to-day business office operations of the Center, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, client funds, petty cash activities, etc. Participate in specific financial transactions, as needs dictate.
Prepare (or supervise the preparation of) annual operating plans and forecasts, as well as annual capital plan in accordance with established corporate & center timetables.
BA in Accounting or related field, MBA preferred.
Experience: Ten years accounting experience, preferably in a health care environment.
