We are currently seeking a Finance Coordinator to join our Project and Development Services Group located in Atlanta, GA. Our Project and Development Services group provides a range of occupancy-related design, construction and relocation services for corporations, institutions and professional services firms.

FINANCE COORDINATOR - Atlanta, GA

Responsibilities:
Gather data and maintain monthly revenue backlog for Region; analyze client contracts and update revenue forecast using I2C forecasting tool
Act as liaison between Region and Corporate Accounting by following up on all Accounting issues, such as invoicing issues, AR issues, revenue reclasses, etc.
Assist Region Operations Manager (ROM) with Region's plan and reforecasts
Assist with AR issues and collections, working with Region and Corporate Accounting to resolve and collect outstanding AR
Assist with month end close, including formatting and distributing financial reporting, as well as coordinating ad hoc reporting with Corporate Accounting and Region
Maintain regional surveys and training processes
Understand and use software tools such as PeopleSoft T & E, OneView Financials, in order to provide system support to Region
Format and create advanced Excel spreadsheets for financial analysis
Handle administrative and financials tasks such as maintaining contracts file, data input, collating and copying financial reports, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting related field
Minimum of five years experience in an accounting department with an understanding of accrual accounting, forecasting, budgeting, and invoicing
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with a large staff
Computer proficiency with Excel and technology systems, experience with implementing new systems a plus
