F/C Bookkeeper; Accounting

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
First and foremost, we are seeking someone who is experienced, capable and who can learn and adapt quickly with minimal startup time. We need a seasoned professional with preferably 5-years experience in F/C bookkeeping. Flexibility to move from one assignment to another is important element. Experience working with payroll is a plus.

The position calls for an ethical, stable individual with a strong work ethic and a desire for long-term employment. The company is suited to a multi-tasking professional who possess a nose for cutting costs, meeting deadlines, solving problems and improving processes. A cooperative team-spirited individual who is detail oriented and works well with people. The ability to stay organized, set priorities and handle repetitive as well as complex tasks are key. A good mind for business and a sense of humor will also go a long way!

Our firm (generally 8-12 people)is located in Lake Forest, CA located in a professional office complex.
REQUIREMENTS
ACCOUNTING SKILLS:
*Quickbooks Pro (or similar accounting package)
*General Ledger
*Trial Balance
*Financial Reports: P&L, Balance Sheet
*A/R, A/P
*Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations
*Payroll
*Accounting Processes and Controls

Education
2-Year degree preferred. Extensive relevant work experience; QuickBooks. Tax experience a plus.
