External Reporting AnalystThis position, located in Charlotte, will report to the General Manager of External Reporting and Corporate Secretary.Principal duties include:
•Assist in preparation of quarterly, annual and other SEC filings, including 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, S-8
•Draft sections of the annual report
•Research accounting issues
•Prepare accruals under executive compensation plans
•Prepare various financial analyses
•Prepare filings for political action committee
•Draft news releasesCandidates should have the following qualifications and attributes:
•Four year degree with major or emphasis in accounting
•CPA
•Experience with SEC reporting (national public accounting experience or SEC reporting experience with a public company)
•Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
•Extensive background using research and accounting literature
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Strong organization and analytical skills
•Team player
