Export Compliance, Senior Analyst

Essential Duties:
-Transactional responsibilities include performs export clearance, file AES records, etc.

-Operational responsibilities include working with freight forwarders, performing audits of various internal / external customers, etc.

-Project Management experience and skills.

-On site compliance resource.

-Analyze / evaluate and make recommendations to Compliance Management Team regarding customer or vendor proposals and / or contract review.

-Analyze projects, challenges, issues, etc. applying the fundamental technical concepts contained with in the Export Administration Regulations and similar international regulations.

-Able to effectively run queries in order to gather and present data supporting recommendations in resolution of issues. Expert level user of database management tools along with access, SAP, and other industry specific softwares.


General Description:

Understands the specific requirements of Regulatory Compliance projects, then develops, implements, and evaluates the final solution. Oversee projects until completion. Works independently. Possesses strong operational background, strong communication skills in both English and Spanish, has experience with auditing for Sarbanes Oxley compliance, strong project management experience, and a solid understanding as well as practical experience with relevant regulations, such as the Export Administration Regulations. Finally, the preferred candidate has a minimum of three years experience managing a multicultural staff.
REQUIREMENTS
Position will be located in Miami, FL.

4 yr college degree from a regionally accredited university, or 2 yrs college completed at a regionally accredited university (48 credit hrs) plus 4 yrs relevant exp., or 8 or more yrs relevant exp. Advanced database management experience including Access.
