Expense Planning Technical Analyst


Overview:Utilizes a variety of technologies to develop and enhance planning and reporting tools in order to facilitate strategic and operating plans. Automates and integrates existing forms into universal and dynamic aplications. Maintains majority of Expense Planning analysis recaps which require flexibility to adapt to continuous change. Consults with management (expense owners) and Data Management when developing tools/applications. Serves as back up to Expense Analysts during key planning and corporate visit time frames.


Key Accountabilities:Develops and enhances tools/applications and upgrades existing reports to better functionality.
Consults with Management on needs of business
Ad hoc reporting and weekly recaps
Seasonal planning and Corporate Visit preparation.
Works with the Corporate Office on broad spectrum projects.
Prepares ongoing statistical reports for all levels of management.
Seasonally updates and revises ongoing Excel base reports.


Skills Summary:Four-year college degree in Business Administration or AccountingExperience in Retail Support - Finance, Operations or Gross Margin background required
Strong analytical skills as well as an aptitude for math, demonstrated technical skills and good written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional organizational skills, particularly managing multiple projects to ensure deadlines are met
Superior technical skills to include advanced Excel, Word and Lotus Notes
Begining or intermediate Visual Basic, SQL databases desired
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management
