Prairie State College - a comprehensive community college located in a diverse district 25 miles south of downtown Chicago - is accepting applications for the following position.The Executive Director will report to the Vice President of Business & Information Services and will be responsible for providing administrative direction to the Data Services Center, as well as the area of Institutional Support Services. The Executive Director is also responsible for providing college-wide direction in the areas of information technology and management information systems necessary to achieve established goals and objectives of the College.

REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or related area; MUST HAVE 5 years experience in supervision and administration of people; 5 years experience in computer system capabilities, applications, and operations to include experience in the theoretical aspects and applications of management information systems; solid oral and written communication skills are essential. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in management information systems or related area; 2 years' experience in a college or educational setting; experience with Datatel’s Colleague product.
