Deadline for consideration is September 18, 2006 at 5 p.m. (McIntosh County) Executive Accountant- Under the broad supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, manages all accounting, business and financial functions for a state agency. Supervises a limited number of accounting staff. Performs periodic operational analyses of accounting procedures and systems procedures. Performs advanced professional accounting duties that require the independent application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Analyzes, records, and interprets financial transactions, reconciles account data and prepares specialized and standard accounting reports. Will manage the payroll, procurement, accounting, business and financial functions. Minimum Qualifications: Completion of an undergraduate major in accounting, or a related field at a four-year college or university which includes two basic and two intermediate/advance accounting courses or at least 2 year of practical experience as a supervisor of an accounting department and a minimum of 5 years of work experience as an accounting professional/para-professional, with experience performing advanced accounting duties. Knowledge of PC-based applications including Microsoft Word and Excel. Preferred Qualifications: Master's of Business Administration and/or other professional certifications and knowledge of CMHC Financials. NURSE - Provides professional nursing services in accordance with medical protocols. Assesses the consumer's condition, develops care plans, provides treatment and education. Records pertinent observations and responses to treatment. May supervise subordinate staff. Minimum Qualifications: A current Georgia license to practice as a registered professional nurse and psychiatric experience. SOCIAL SERVICE PROVIDER I, LICENSED - Assesses, screens and counsels consumers in a variety of program areas to enhance, meet or restore a consumer's functioning capacity. Develops or participates in, case management/care plans. Provides case management/case coordination services to consumers. Provides counseling/therapy to consumers requiring complex intervention, including those who are homicidal, suicidal or exhibit life-threatening behaviors; determines necessity for involuntary commitment; may execute orders of involuntary commitment; provides clinical training to professional social services staff; performs assessments for court depositions, legal proceedings and eligibility determinations. Minimum Qualifications: Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist is required. CRAFTSMAN, GENERAL TRADE - Performs construction, repairs, preventive maintenance and inspections of physical structures, plumbing fixtures/hardware, and electrical devices at an assigned facility. Minimum Qualifications: Successful completion of a post-secondary vocational/technical school program in a skilled trade (e.g., electrical, carpentry, plumbing) or six months of experience in a construction trade or building maintenance.
