Education Finance Account Manager I

As an Account Manager I your primary responsibility is to call on Education Finance college and university customers to promote the Federal and Private loan products and services. You will be responsible for meeting corporate financial goals (volume, revenue and budget) for your specific territory. You will play a key role in developing and executing a marketing plan and will participate as part of a regional marketing team. On a day-to-day basis, you will meet with clients to determine their needs and present product and service information as potential solutions and must be able to multitask and manage your time efficiently. Travel required is at least 70%. This position will be located in Northern or Central California.



Incumbents at this level are experienced Account Managers capable of independently building client relationships and utilizing expert business development skills to solve complex client issues with minimal involvement from Regional or District Managers as well as possessing expert industry knowledge. The Account Manager I demonstrates a strong knowledge of the bank's products and services and is actively involved in the regional team of which they are a part and are typically involved in positions of authority in professional associations and also serve in a mentoring role for other staff on their team.



Perform routine sales calls in assigned territory

REQUIREMENTS


A Bachelor's degree and at least three years experience in a sales role, or three years experience in the student loan industry is preferred. Experience in higher education is beneficial.
