Drop Ship Analyst

SUMMARY
Gathers data, analyzes, and resolves fulfillment and customer service issues as they relate to Internet drop ship orders. Fosters relationships with external contacts and key drop ship vendors. Prepares analysis, modeling, and recurring management reports summarizing overall Business-to-Consumer shipping profit & loss and drop ship program performance. Acts in a proactive manner and interacts with other internal groups to constantly drive and improve processes. Must be analytical, able to quickly learn internal systems, research documents and develop key reports for rapidly expanding shipping programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Address vendor issues relating to invoice reconciliation, payments, price, drop ship fees, inventory, availability windows, and performance.
·Troubleshoot exceptions and correct problems such as invalid invoices, purchase orders, price issues.
·Monitor backlog reports during peak season and work with vendors to resolve.·Monitor and report on vendor performance; coordinate with internal groups as necessary to set up and manage vendors.·Maintain complete record of drop ship items and ensure completeness and integrity of data in drop ship tables.·Analyze the Drop ship invoicing and supplier crediting processes in order to identify conflicts or breakdowns, suggest enhancements and assist in the implementation of process improvements.·Analyze and report on shipping revenue from customers vs shipping costs from carriers.
·Maintain knowledge of competitors' shipping charges, return policies and other post-order issues to improve competitive edge.
REQUIREMENTS
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
·Bachelor’s degree or higher
·Minimum of 2 years in e-commerce related analytical position
·Experience, knowledge and understanding of Business-to-Consumer fulfillment
·Experience with vendor invoicing, accounts payable or receivableComputer / Technical Skills
·Strong Microsoft Office skills including MS Excel and MS Access
