District Finance Manager-SoCen Region-New Orleans-Baton Rouge

Essential functions of the position*Develop the district's sales action plan in conjunction with the Regional Finance Manager, including prioritizing dealer contact activity within the district.
Become the primary contact for Hyundai dealers in the district to handle service issues. Accomplish this through mastery of HMFC’s systems and procedures and understanding of Service Center operations.Obtain competitive information including retail rates, leaseprograms and marketing programs.
Provide ideas and suggestions for HMFC product, process andprocedure improvement.
Attain HMFC sales/profit objectives within the district in terms of reaching assigned objectives in the following areas:
* New Hyundai retail finance bookings both in absolute numbers and as a share of the retail sales.* Lease contract bookings by promoting HMFC programs where appropriate.* HMFC/HMA products such as Hyundai Gap Protection and Hyundai Protection Plan.* Provide support to Commercial Credit for wholesale dealers through review of audit reports and other activities required.* Collect all active dealer negative reserve amounts.* Follow up and secure titles outstanding.

Service Center personnel, and fellow employees.

Ability to organize tasks and priorities for maximum productivity and efficiency so that assignments are completed within a reasonable time frame.
Mastery of concepts, ideas and procedures needed for theDistrict Finance Manager position.
Ability to meet HMFC standards of accuracy and thoroughness.
Ability to respond effectively to crises and changing priorities.
Ability to gain cooperation and commitment from subordinatesand others, including Service Center personnel.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum experience and educational background*High School Diploma. 5 years experience in automotivefinance industry. Captive and prior automotive financesales experience required. BS/BA college degree preferred.
