District Finance Manager-Richmond, VA/Virginia Beach, VA Area ME

Essential functions of the position*

Become the primary contact for Hyundai dealers in the district to handle service issues. Accomplish this through mastery of HMFC’s systems and procedures and understanding of Service Center operations. Develop the district’s sales action plan in conjunction with the Regional Finance Manager, including prioritizing dealer contact activity within the district. Obtain competitive information including retail rates, lease programs and marketing programs.
Provide ideas and suggestions for HMFC product, process and
procedure improvement.
Attain HMFC sales/profit objectives within the district in terms of reaching assigned objectives in the following areas:
* New Hyundai retail finance bookings both in absolute numbers
and as a share of the retail sales.
* Lease contract bookings by promoting HMFC programs where
appropriate.
* HMFC/HMA products such as Hyundai Gap Protection and
Hyundai Protection Plan.
* Provide support to Commercial Credit for wholesale dealers
through review of audit reports and other activities as required.
* Collect all active dealer negative reserve amounts.
* Follow up and secure titles outstanding.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Ability to develop positive, productive relationships with a wide variety of people including the facing HMA District Sales Manager, key dealer principals, dealership managers, HMFC Service Center personnel, and fellow employees.

Mastery of concepts, ideas and procedures needed for the District Finance Manager position.

Ability to gain cooperation and commitment from subordinates and others, including Service Center personnel.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum experience and educational background*

High School Diploma. 5 years experience in automotive finance
industry. Captive and prior automotive finance sales experience
preferred. BS/BA college degree preferred.
