Director of SEC and Financial Reporting
A company in Northern Virginia is looking for a Director of SEC and Financial Reporting. This individual on a monthly basis will manage, lead, and participate in the preparation of the worldwide consolidation, and the analysis of monthly and quarterly results. On a quarterly basis directly manage, lead, and participate in the preparation and analysis of SEC filings, with a focus on the financial statements/footnotes, and MD&A disclosures and support.
Supervise the implementation and continuous improvement in financial analysis functionality, including data collection, storage, and distribution though existing and planned systems and systems improvements. This position reports to the VP- Finance & Worldwide Controller.
This individual will supervise(2) employees, the Manager- SEC and Financial Reporting and the Accountant- SEC and Financial Reporting.
REQUIREMENTS
• 10+ years experience in accounting & finance
• CPA
• Public company and SEC filing experience required
• Character: Ethical, Systematic, Logical, Direct, Independent, Outgoing, Curious, Challenging
