Director of Physician Billing

DIRECTOR OF PHYSICIAN BILLING for busy, downtown Chicago surgery center. Must have excellent working knowledge of Advantex medical billing systems and Medical Manager billing systems (Certification in both a plus). We are looking for a person with a "hands-on, roll up your sleeves and jump in and help out" type of person. Also needs to be diplomatic with dealing with the surgery center's staff and must have a team-oriented attitude and be willing to pitch in to help surgery center run smoothly on a daily basis.
REQUIREMENTS
Ideal candidate should be self-motivated, energetic, positive attitude with the ability to supervise others.RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
*Overseeing all billing and resolve any issues
*Manage billing staff
*Provide weekly updates and financial reports to Surgery Center management
*Training of staff on billing systems, processes and changes or updates
*Assist with charge entry and receipt postings when needed so billing doesn't fall behind
