Director of Loss Reserving

Our Client is a Global Risk company with a focus on large industrial corporations, large national accounts, oil/petrochemical corporations and complex construction projects. They have a need for a Director of Loss Reserving.

This position will be responsible for the following:
*Producing running the Corporate Reserving model
on a quarterly basis.
*Preparing appropriate exhibits for the
quarterly Loss Reserve Committee.
*Producing & signing the annual Statement of
Actuarial Opinion and composing Actuarial
Reports to meet statutory reporting
requirements.

This individual will be the Appointed Actuary.

REQUIREMENTS
ACAS with a minimum of 5 years experience in Property & Casualty reserving, Commercial Lines preferred.
*Experience in preparing/signing Property &
Casualty reserve opinions
*Experience in Microsoft Excel macros
*Individual will take the lead in running the
models required for reserve valuation.
*Strong written and verbal skills
*Experience in Visual Basic or .Net a plus
*Experience in Relational Database discipline
including Data Warehouse architecture, ANSI SQL
programming a plus.
