Director of Financial Operations Analysis

This senior level position is responsible for monitoring and managing the financial health of the Operations of Bed Bath & Beyond. This position works directly with almost all departments in the company, including but not limited to: store operations, supply chain, customer service, bridal, information technology, finance, purchasing, loss prevention, regional store management, marketing, Harmon and Christmas Tree Shops. The Director of Financial Operations Analysis will report directly to the Vice President of Financial Operations Analysis. Responsibilities of the position focus on the following:
1. Ensure the company makes informed decisions through appropriate data analysis
o Develop ad hoc data analysis
o Create and maintain actionable reporting tools for various constituents
o Ensure data integrity
2. Create and manage process supporting various company and departmental initiatives
3. Act as liaison between Finance departments and other departments within company
o Represent Finance perspective to rest of company as part of cross-functional team
o Develop required analysis and reporting
o Work as part of a team in making business decisions
4. Manage store budgeting process
o Sales
o Payroll
o Freight
5. Develop action plan to drive store profitability
o Store specific marketing related initiatives
o Cost savings
6. Development of �??Expertise�?� in the Supply Chain area
7. Business Analyst
o Cost savings analysis
o ROI calculations related to large capital expenditures
8. Effective leadership of team of analysts
REQUIREMENTS
Competencies required include:

Qualifications
�?� Bachelors degree in finance or accounting
�?� 8-12 years work experience
