Director, Product Analytics

RESPONSIBILITIES: Position will be responsible for managing the product design and development of advanced analytical systems which support the risk and back office needs of our Members, merchants, and alliance partners. Particular emphasis will be placed on the development of analytical products and components which correlate, identify, and mitigate event level anomalies-fraud patterns which cut across the transaction payment space. Responsibilities will include the development of business cases, business requirements, and appropriate analysis / prototypes to meet critical business needs. Candidate will also need to be able to collaborate with Members as well as internal product groups to provide strategic direction and present a holistic vision for event level analytics within Visa. Secondary responsibilities: Position will also be responsible for the overall performance and enhancements of current analytical products such as the event level components of Advanced Authorization.

REQUIREMENTS: Graduate degree with at least 5 years of product development experience required. Minimum of 5 years in bankcard or banking related transaction analytics such as fraud and/or credit risk. Proven ability to apply new technologies and leverage appropriate analytical tools to create cutting edge products. Excellent business writing, verbal communication and presentation skills are required. Ability to manage external vendors, evangelize the product vision, delivery comprehensive analysis, and provide analytic guidance to senior management and Members.
