Director/Manager of Financial Reporting

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $75000 to $90000 per year A Hampton manufacturing company is in search of a Financial Reporting Manager/Director. The Responsibilities include:•Responsible for the leadership and management of the Accounting team supporting corporate reporting.
•Maintaining a senior-level of responsibility for the integrity of financial statements and disclosures, including compliance with US GAAP, and SEC Rules.•Analysis of financial statements for trends, accounting errors
•Lead the development, execution, management and updating a monthly reporting package for the monthly close process which will be utilized by Corporate Accounting and Senior Management in analyzing actual results
•Answering technical questions and providing requested financial information
•Analysis of internal controls for weaknesses and establishing and maintaining sound internal controls within SOX environment
•Make recommendations and highlight high-impact opportunities.
•Implementing and maintaining performance goals, coaching direct reports and their staff and implementing staff development opportunities.
•Coordinate and review quarterly and annual tax provision
