Director, Financial Reporting

This position is responsible for performing Penn Treaty American Corporation and subsidiaries’ financial accounting and reporting functions, including monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closing processes and Statutory and GAAP financial reporting. In addition, the position will be responsible for working with the Director of Financial Controls on our annual Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 attestations.
REQUIREMENTS
CPA or CPA candidate preferred; Strong communication skills; Ability to meet deadlines; Ability to work discreetly with confidential information; Ability to work in fast paced environment; Ability to research and provide solutions to accounting issues; Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks concurrently and Strong organization and leadership skills.
