We are currently recruiting for a consumer finance company that is searching for a Director/Assistant Controller with prior success in leadership. They are an exciting and dynamic company that offers a generous total rewards package.
Job Description & Responsibilities
The business responsibilities for this position include overseeing and directing several departments as well as the month-end close process. This is a high exposure role that will get involved in various cross functional business issues. Other responsibilities include ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of all general ledger accounts, identifying and implementing new procedures to improve operational efficiencies and internal controls, and preparing and maintaining monthly/quarterly policy and procedures for key balance sheet and income statement accounts.This position reports to the VP and Controller.
REQUIREMENTS
-Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related area
-CPA Required
-Financial Services/Consumer Finance experience required
-4+ years in a leadership for a corporate finance or accounting department coupled with 4+ years of public accounting experienceTo Apply
