Degreed Payroll Supervisor

Fantastic opportunity with an excellent company! You will mainly be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the payroll staff in order to ensure accurate temporary employee payroll and accurate and timely client billing.
Major Ongoing Job Responsibilities:
•Oversees distribution of payroll packets received from branch staff.
•Oversees distribution and mail process of client invoices.
•Supports field operations by answering questions and assisting with payroll/billing related issues.
•Reviews and processes client adjustments.
•Reviews and processes miscellaneous pay for temporary employees.
•Reviews workload of employees to ensure a balanced distribution.
•Reviews reports and completes StaffSuite/ASAP system corrections as necessary.
•Reviews and processes weekly Direct Deposit for temporary employees.
•Compiles and distributes audit reports for department staff to review for corrections.
•Prepares and administers the performance management process to employees.
•Oversees and assists with training of new staff members.
•Serves as a backup for the payroll and bill processes.
•Assists with Web-Ex Operations Class training as needed.
•Administers vacation pay to all temporary employees.
•Provides advanced high level US and Canadian payroll support.
•Interfaces with StaffSuite/ASAP software provider on Payroll/Billing system issues for US and Canada.
REQUIREMENTS
Hiring Requirements/Preferences:
KNOWLEDGE
A high degree of customer service and sensitivity towards the issues that the field may be dealing with are extremely important. Good communication skills and potential leadership skills are required. Good organizational skills are a plus.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
A bachelor’s degree with five to eight years of payroll, supervisory experience or the equivalent. Computer aptitude is essential to deal with ASAP. The ability to work with technical as well as non-technical individuals should be possessed.
