Deal Manager

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $50000 to $80000 per year Privately held merchant banking firm specializing in providing both debt and equity to the commercial real estate market and to operating companies involved in this market seeks a Deal Manager.Reporting to Executive Vice President of Underwriting, the Deal Manager will work with external relationships as well as internal personnel to foster loan transactions, develop business relationships, enacting company policies with present and future business partners. This Deal Manager will be directly responsible for Origination, Underwriting, Closing and Purchasing of newly originated real estate loans from origination partners. The team oriented Deal Manager will also be primarily responsible for coordinating multiple areas of loan production including underwriting, valuations, legal and pricing.Responsibilities include:• Taking a Lead Role establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with originator partners.
• Work closely all areas of the company to ensure compliance with established company procedures, loan programs and underwriting guidelines.
• Work closely with Information Technology Team group to help establish technology to implement business procedures and guidelines.
• Participate in additional special assignments of the underwriting group and sales groups, which may include off-site diligence, originator training and general sales support. Entrepreneurial, business casual environment. Excellent benefits including a fitness center on the premises.
