The Data Management Group supports the financial audit through the application of Computer Assisted Auditing Techniques (CAATs) in a number of areas including:
Computer Assisted Auditing Techniques (CAATs)SAS 99 (Fraud Analysis) Accounts Receivable Analysis Liquidating Accounts Receivable Accounts Payable Analysis Search for Unrecorded Liabilities Fixed Asset Analysis Inventory AnalysisThe Senior Associate is responsible for analyzing data from various platforms, leading small teams, scripting tests to interrogate data, drafting documentation and assisting with the management of projects from pre-sales and initial scoping through final delivery and sign-off.The engagement support responsibilities include:
Interacting with both internal and external clients Understanding client general ledger systems Requesting data for specific tests to be performed Validating data Writing scripts to meet objectives defined by the audit teams
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting or highly related Business major is requiredEssential Requirements:
Candidates must possess accounting and/or auditing experience, a strong technical facility and a desire to learn. Excellent communication skills are a must. The ideal candidate will also have a client service orientation that combines creative problem solving skills, the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and have an ability to successfully interact with clients and other PricewaterhouseCoopers professionals. 5-7 years of experience is desired.Must be able to resolve data logic issues and modify data analysis techniques as appropriate.Working knowledge of ACL, Monarch, and SQL a plus.
