UCG is looking for a Data Analyst to play a major role in the transformation of our business systems. We are moving our diverse business units' data from legacy systems to a next generation application service provider hosted system. Primary Responsibilities:Develop a detailed understanding of UCG’s business infrastructure.
Maintain and enhance data processing scripts and applications.
Write scripts to extract data from multiple sources (FoxPro, SQL Server, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel), format to multiple formats (XML, CSV, Microsoft Excel) and load into target applications (SQL, Netsuite, MS Access, Excel).Automate routines for data extraction and loading on a scheduled basis.
Document all data manipulation processes and scripts. REQUIREMENTSProficiency with MS SQL Server and MS Access
Comfortable working with technical and non-technical staff
Experience with data migration (ETL development and processing)
Experience with different data transfer protocols across the internet (FTP, HTTP, ODBC and Web Services)
Very strong SQL programming experience
Proven system documentation skillsExperience building and manipulating complex XML structures

Desired Skills & Experience:Hosted ERP applications such as NetSuite, SalesForce, or RightNow
