DIRECTOR OF STUDENT FINANCE (FINANCIAL AID)
This position is based in Sacramento, California at our IADT Sacramento Campus and is responsible for setting up the school's Student Finance department, performing all responsibilities of the department until staff is hired and trained, then moving into more of a management role as the school grows. The position will also ensure the financing all current and potential students in compliance with all policies and procedures while maintaining a high level of customer service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct and monitor operations to ensure Student Finance is in compliance with all federal, state, accreditation, and corporate guidelines/regulations.
Manage daily/weekly goals of subordinates.
Keep current on federal, state, accreditation and corporate guidelines/regulations as it relates to student finance processing.
Ensure Cash/Packaged percentage is met or exceeded on all students.
Monitor all management reports to ensure any issues/concerns are addressed appropriately and in a timely manner.
Identify and process all Return of Title IV funds in accordance with federal, state, accreditation guidelines/regulations and CEC policy.
Staff hiring, training, evaluation and coaching.

REQUIREMENTS
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
At least 3 years of management and Financial Aid experience.
Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills, motivational, coaching and results driven in a customer-focused environment.
Effective comprehension, listening, presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of internal control concepts and principles, admissions, tuition planning, student financial services and retention.
Knowledge of default management, regulatory audits, state and federal compliance rules.
