DATA ANALYST II - ST2961

General Summary: This positionâ??s core responsibility is to respond to the ongoing reporting needs of the departmentâ??s customers to include the delivery of assigned reports in a timely and accurate manner. In addition, they should possess an ability to provide systematic and data related support to Data Management and its requestors.
1.Responsible for the development of reports., reference tables, and/or data marts in accordance with the Report Development Policy and Procedure. This is to include full and accurate documentation of all required elements and criteria, and the validation of the end product to ensure intended results are being achieved.

2.Responsible for the delivery of timely and accurate production reports that meet the agreed upon threshold for timely measurement.

3.Assist in the development and delivery of timely and accurate ad hoc reports that meet the agreed upon threshold for timely measurement

4.Responsible for effectively communicating progress and status of requests to the end user.
5.Assist senior level analysts and departmental management team in meeting the departmentâ??s goals and objectives.
6.Responsible for analyzing report requests and data to provide feedback to management staff on data.
7.Responsible for ensuring that direct supervisor is continually made aware of the status of each project/task and informed when roadblocks are encountered and/or deliverables are at risk.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:

â?˘Education: Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or related field or 1-2 years related experience.
â?˘Licensures: None required.
â?˘Relevant Work Experience: Proficient in using software and tools for data analysis and other computing software applications required. Proficient in using relation database software required.
