CREDIT AND COLLECTION ANALYST (Direct Accounts)

Taylor & Francis, a global publisher of high-end scientific, technical and business media, is currently seeking a CREDIT AND COLLECTION ANALYST for our direct accounts.

Position Profile

The Credit and Collection Analyst is responsible for managing the collections activity of Direct clients assigned to him/her. As a part of this team the Collector can better identify and resolve any issues that may delay payment.


Job Duties
•Expedite timely payment via phone and/or e-mail on a daily basis.
•Support the efforts of their team to maintain the integrity of the Clients database. Assist with research and daily account reconciliation.
•Report on account aging to the Accounts Receivable Manager. Expected to create and accurately calculate aging spreadsheets to Manager for bi-weekly client meetings.
•Manage accounts receivables aging to the acceptable level identified by management.
•Identify and report any existing or potential financial instabilities that may exist with a Direct Account immediately.
•Daily review of system generated Held Order reports.



Qualifications
•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
•Working knowledge and current use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
•Strong problem solving skills in addition to detail focus.
•Flexible! Open to demand of Industry change and business decisions.
•3-5 years of previous Collection and Accounts Receivable experience is preferred.
