Credit Representative - Retail

Successful incumbents will have the ability to multi-task, while maintaining accuracy in a fast paced environment. Associates must have the ability to follow procedures and adhere to closely controlled schedules.Work schedules will be evening hours starting anywhere between 5:15pm to 6:15pm for 4 to 6 hours and includes Saturdays, Mondays off. Total hours 23-26. Training will start August 10.
Duties:
Accepts inbound calls from store associates requesting approval for new credit accounts. Processes new credit card applications.
Reviews exception applications and follows system generated decision.
May communicate and explain credit applicant's credit worthiness why declined. Makes outbound calls to verify applicant information.
May process simple correspondence on updating customer accounts. Performs other related duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS
0 to 2 years experience Ability to read and write
Ability to input and interpret data
Excellent verbal communication skills
Detail oriented/accuracy
Minimum typing speed 30 wpm
