REQUIREMENTS
As credit manager you will oversee, direct and/or perform all aspects of the credit and collection functions for a progressive Energy Company.
?Process new accounts, reviewing existing accounts, making collection calls, preparing written analyses/recommendations for credit limits exceeding authority, determine bad debt reserves and manage write-offs.?Reconcile customer accounts and maintains files; generate reports in conjunction with monthly forecasts; interface with collection agencies; maintain customer master record information.?Review A/R portfolios for potential problems and slow pay.?Prepare monthly and quarterly reports; Analysis of monthly P&L?Seek opportunities and methods to mitigate credit risk.
?Ensure monthly statements are sent out in a timely fashion and payments are received in a timely fashion.Requirements:?Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business (or equivalent in experience)?5+ years of commercial credit management experience?Knowledge of MS Office and credit department computer software.
?Keen negotiation skills. The ability to find creative ways to motivate the customer to
make timely account payments.?The ability to analyze financial statements.?Strong managerial and motivational skills.?Accounting Background a plus
