Credit & Collections Analyst 2

Under limited supervision, perform credit and collection activities to set up and collect accounts receivable from customers. 1/3 of activity relates to an international customer account base. Analyzes customer financial statements and determines customer credit limits. Follows credit policy and makes credit recommendations to Supervisor. Interface with sales account reps, sales management, customers, billing, and order management team members to reconcile discrepancies, correct billing errors and ensure accurate and timely collections activities. Update aging information, forecast collections by customer, perform customer credit checks, and assist the Tax department with collecting tax resales certificates from accounts. Requirements:

Minimum of Associates Degree in Business or Accounting field, Bachelors Degree preferred, or equivalent working experience. Minimum of 3 - 5 years in an accounting environment; 2 years of collection & account reconciliation experience required. PC skills including Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills; current experience using an MRP/ERP system - Oracle preferred. Strong internal customer communication and negotiation skills. Ability to present ideas clearly and negotiate in the best interests of the company.
